Main characteristics
- Type: pre-doctoral contract (research training)
- Duration: up to 4 years
- Commitment: full-time
- Minimum remuneration: €25,456.32 gross/year
- Includes additional funding of up to €7,000 for research stays and doctoral tuition fees
Possibility of a postdoctoral orientation period (POP) after the thesis defence - 1 place reserved for people with a disability ≥33%
Basic requirements
- Qualification giving access to a PhD (bachelor’s/master’s degree or equivalent)
- Be admitted or eligible to enrol in a UVa PhD programme 2025-2026
- Not already hold a PhD degree
- Not have previously enjoyed more than 12 months of a pre-doctoral contract
